34. Who Are You Becoming?

Practicing your leadership means looking at who you are and who you are becoming. It means identifying your identities, examining how they intersect, understanding how they play into your power and privilege, and committing to doing your own work to understand your influence on others.

Why? So we can understand ourselves and our leadership at a deeper level and so we can stand in a place of empathy, context, and perspective that is required to create places of equitable access into experiences, situations, conversations, and feelings of inclusion and belonging.
